Student Participation

Students actively help shape Goethe University: self-government, group work, and a wide range of other opportunities allow them to get involved.

Student Involvement

At Goethe University, there are numerous student groups that enrich university life socially, culturally, politically, and in many other ways. Currently, there are over 30 groups dedicated to a wide range of topics: sustainability, nature conservation, cultural activities, communication, media, economics, social issues, sports, e-sports, coaching, art, music, games, and even student legal advice.

The groups are open to all Goethe University students, and most of them organize regular events and enrich campus life with engaging activities. You can find a comprehensive overview and connect with the groups here.

If you are interested in starting a group yourself, you can find more information on this webpage. A student group can receive acknowledgment under certain conditions and present itself on the online portal. The corresponding arrangement as well as contact persons at Goethe University can be found here.

If you would like additional details about the acknowledgement process, please write to engagement@uni-frankfurt.de.
