Ombudspersons

for Students, Academic Staff, Student Assistants, and Research Assistants

Ombudspersons are your points of contact for any issues, complaints, or suggestions for improvement related to your course or doctorate.

When should you reach out to the ombudsperson?

(1) If the conflict could not be resolved through direct conversation with the involved party, or (2) if resolving the issue proves to be very challenging.

How should you contact the ombudsperson?

It’s best to let them know you’re coming via email, even if you are planning to visit during office hours. Approaching the ombudspersons by email also allows you to schedule appointments outside of office hours, thereby reducing long waiting times.
