Main Math Challenge

Main Math Challenge – four focus areas, three challenges, two grade levels, one day!

Math with a difference: creative, fast-paced, and in teams! In the Main Math Challenge, students in their final two years of school take part in a special competition based on the four focus areas of the Institute of Mathematics at Goethe University Frankfurt. In teams of three to four, they tackle three exciting challenges that focus on creativity and team spirit, but above all on having fun with math!

The day is rounded off with lectures, discussions with mathematicians, and exciting insights into studying mathematics. Refreshments are also provided. Teachers are welcome to accompany their students, but participation is also possible without supervision.
