Goethe BioLab

Since 2008, Goethe BioLab has been offering biology teachers and their classes and courses the opportunity to develop and deepen their knowledge of biology in a practical and student-oriented manner at the Riedberg campus as part of student laboratory days. Working with both historical and modern research methods in the life sciences provides insights into a possible future career field.

Goethe BioLab focuses on offerings for upper secondary school (e.g., biomembranes, genetic fingerprinting, plant physiology experiments, evolution). However, there are also offerings for grades 5–10 of various school types among the exciting topics (e.g., respiration, blood, and virtual microscopy).
