ALICE Masterclass

Particle Physics Network

The ALICE experiment at CERN is one of four major experiments at the Large Hadron Collider.

As part of the masterclass, students have the opportunity to spend a day gaining insight into current particle physics research at CERN.

They begin with a technical introduction to the physics of the CERN experiment. In the practical part that follows, they acquire simple, basic programming skills and independently perform data analysis using real data from CERN.
