Max-Beckmann School

Max-Beckmann School is a senior high school that specifically caters to students from intermediate and comprehensive schools that do not have their own upper-level classes.

Our school is characterized by social and cultural diversity, which we see as a unique opportunity for the personal development and academic growth of all young people learning here. Our educational approach is designed to prepare students with a wide range of learning experiences for their high school diploma. Among our strengths are the establishment of consistent learning groups in classes through to graduation, a broad selection of foundational and advanced courses, as well as specialized counseling and support services (e.g., language support, German as a second language, learning labs). Additional subjects and projects across all three academic departments (e.g., bilingual political science, biotechnology, creative writing workshops, student newspaper, art projects, Youth Research Club “Biochemistry,” student exchange with China) aim to foster individual interests and strengths.
