Bertha-von-Suttner School

The Bertha-von-Suttner School is an integrated comprehensive school with a college-preparatory upper level located in Mörfelden-Walldorf, guided by the school motto "Encourage and Empower."

The central guiding principle of the school is fostering a culture of mutual respect.

Students’ diverse interests and talents are supported through the school-specific development initiatives of the Independent School program, Self-Directed Learning (SegeL), and Individualized and Self-Directed Learning in the upper level (InSeL). In these programs, students work on differentiated assignments tailored to various learning styles and approaches.

The school’s profile—European School, Cultural School, All-Day School, and Quality Seal for Gifted Education—is closely connected to the SegeL and InSeL curriculum, enabling intercultural learning, creative approaches, and specialized support across all subjects.
