Become a guest auditor at Goethe University

Are you looking to further your education without enrolling in a full course at university? As a guest auditor, you can attend selected classes without A-Levels

Guest auditors can participate in regular university courses without needing a higher education entrance qualification. However, approval from the respective instructor is required for each individual course.

Guest auditors do not have student status, do not receive a Semesterticket, and are not entitled to obtain academic credits. Additionally, guest auditor status is not available for programs in medicine, dentistry, or pharmacy.

Which courses can be attended?
Explore the current course offerings in the digital course catalogue and select the courses you would like to attend. Contact the respective instructors (e.g., via email) to inquire whether participation as a guest auditor is possible. Contact details are provided directly in the course listing.

Complete and submit the guest auditor application:
Download the guest auditor application here, fill it out, and have the instructor sign it. Alternatively, you can obtain the instructor’s approval via email and submit it along with the completed application.

Once you have obtained all necessary approvals, calculate your individual guest auditor fee and transfer the amount to Goethe University.
